12, 24, or 48 V hybrid inverter with built-in solar charge controller (MPPT).

Automatic transfer switch

Critical-circuit switch pre-wired for seamless grid ↔ battery switching with no manual intervention.

IoT controller

Cellular-connected controller with 5-minute telemetry cadence and remote firmware updates.

Installation & commissioning

Most efficient

Lithium iron phosphate (LFP)

Longest lifetime, deepest daily use, and the most compact pack. Best total cost of ownership over 8–12 years.

Higher upfront cost, but pays back through longer lifetime and deeper daily discharge.

Balanced cost

Sealed lead-acid (AGM / Gel)

Maintenance-free sealed batteries you can install anywhere. A solid middle-ground when lithium is out of budget.

No water top-ups required. Widely available across most African markets.

Most affordable

Flooded lead-acid

The lowest upfront cost and the easiest to source locally — at the price of regular maintenance (water top-ups) and a shorter lifetime.

Must be installed in a ventilated area and topped up with distilled water periodically.
